Recruitment Techniques
This is a subject that deserves a book, not a paragraph. The Technique that you use isn't too different than recruiting for sales. However, a phone person does need a slightly different skill and personal ability.
There is software out there now and businesses whose business is just that, recruiting for the telephone.
What I'd like to stress, do not hire someone to work over the phone that you do not interview over the phone! I am amazed how some HR Departments hire traditionally and present a candidate to the Manager, they are hired and no one has tested their phone skills and ability.
